The Sidcup Club has run many and varied trials over its 95 year history.

The Club archives has programmes and/or results from several, and results and reports have been printed in the Club magazine or motorcycle magazines.

As many results as we have will be shown here – if any reader has any paperwork from trials ran by the Club, please contact the (unofficial) archivist, Peter Burrell on peter@sidcupmcc.co.uk.

Sidcup Trials in 1929 to 1939

The Sidcup 30 Trial
This was run from 2002 to 2005 and was designed as a ‘tough’ trial for expert riders.

The Sidcup NOVICE TRIAL
This was run during the 1960’s and 1970’s and open to members of all SE Centre clubs.
It always attracted many riders of all capabilities, as can be seen from the huge spread of scores!

Sidcup SIDECAR TRIALS
These were run during the 1950’s to1980’s and revived in the 2000’s.

The Campbell Cup Trial      
This trial was run during the 1960’s and 1970’s.  Information on the Cup will be added in due course.

The Sidcup Road Trial
Research will be done on whether other Road Trials were run!

The Sheepcote Cup Trial
This was run in the 1954’s and 1960’s and named as it started from the Sheepcote Farm, St. Mary Cray. Orpington.
We only have the programme of the 4th Annual Sheepcote Trial on 19th December 1954 (108 riders).

Closed Standard Tyre Handicap Trial 
This may have been a ‘one-off’ trial (research needed!).
